Celebrating our 2024 Graduates: Another Milestone in Sales Education

22 July 2024

In a grand celebration filled with pride, the latest set of students from Middlesex University and Consalia's sales programmes recently had their graduation day.

The event, as always, marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and growth for our learners. Every year it serves as a chance to highlight not only the individual successes of the graduates but also the importance of advanced education in today’s changing sales landscape.

This year we thought we'd shine a spotlight on some of this year's graduates - in their own words and pictures from the big day.

The Graduates and Their Journeys

Level 6 B2B Sales Degree Apprenticeship

Mohammad Yousaf began his journey as one of the first degree apprentices at Crown Commercial Service. Over three years, he balanced work and study, supported by managers, mentors, and family, ultimately graduating with a First-Class Honours in B2B Sales. His story is one of dedication and the invaluable support system that helped him succeed.

Abdulwahab Lasoye started his career at Vodafone as a Sales Specialist through an apprenticeship in 2018. Over six years, he navigated various business areas, completing his B2B Sales degree and experiencing significant professional and personal growth. His journey reflects the power of perseverance and the impact of supportive colleagues and mentors.

Maria King embarked on her apprenticeship with Amazon Web Services, working as an Account Manager while studying for her BSc (Hons) in Professional Practice of B2B Sales. Her three-year journey was a rollercoaster, filled with new experiences and challenges that ultimately shaped her career. The opportunity to learn while working provided a unique platform for her growth.

Dylan Sidhu took a non-traditional path, diving straight into the workforce after A-Levels before seizing the opportunity of a Sales Apprenticeship at Royal Mail. His journey through the B2B Sales degree programme was marked by hard work and family support, culminating in his current role at Direct Link. A true testament to how academic learning and practical experience aren't mutually exclusive.

Malika Ali also celebrated her graduations, achieving First-Class Honours while advancing her full-time sales career at Vodafone. We're all excited to see what she does next, too!

Scarlett Rudd also celebrated the successful outcome of three years of working and studying at BT. You might have gathered from some of the other photos that this was a hot day to be wearing robes, but you wouldn't know it from Scarlett and everyone else's smiles!

Level 6 B2B Sales Degree Apprenticeship

Level 7 Senior Sales Leader Post Graduate Diploma Degree Apprenticeship

Lyndsay Abrahams Exceeded her own expectations by completing not just her Level 7 PG Dip but also her master's. It's always inspiring to see a passion for learning ignited that takes our apprentices to greater heights than they thought possible.

Level 7 Senior Sales Leader PGDip Degree Apprenticeship

Laura Bradley-Carter also achieved a full master's qualification after completing the Level 7 programme. What makes Laura's journey extra special is that she is now working as a tutor for Consalia! There's no better example of the "ripple" effect described by Dr Peter Critten - using your learning to spread knowledge to others, and elevating the entire industry as a result.

Matthew Thomas's learning journey has been a long one. From humble academic beginnings to a long career at Vodafone, culminating in study that saw him progressing through his Level 7 programme and onto a full master's. A perfect reminder that it's never too late to start academic professional study.

Executive Master's in Leading Sales Transformation

Juergen Roehricht and Nasir Munshi were both celebrating gaining their master's degrees through the in-house programme we run with SAP. We hope that they will continue to learn and grow together as part of SAP's elite worldwide team of sales masters!

Both Juergen and Nasir took the opportunity to highlight the importance of self-reflection - a key part of the master's programme. When you study a programme like this you learn as much about yourself as you do about sales!

Looking Forward

Graduation day is not just a celebration of individual academic achievement, but a testament to the transformative power of education and the unwavering support from families, mentors, and colleagues. Hearing the stories of the next generation of sales leaders gives us great confidence about the future of sales education and the sales industry in general.

The future holds endless possibilities for these graduates. As they embark on their new adventures, we hope that the lessons learned and the networks built during their time with Middlesex and Consalia will continue to play a pivotal role in their professional journeys.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! May your futures be as bright and successful as your journey has been so far.
